1. Visit the Pew Hispanic Center, part of the amazing Pew Research Center. Read “When Labels Don’t Fit: Hispanics and Their Views of Identity. This is the largest growing segment of the U.S. population. Let’s get educated. Let’s be informed.

2. Check out this research, “Conservatives and Liberals Respond Differently to Fundraising Pitches, Study Finds,” reported in The Chronicle of Philanthropy.

3. Read Seth Godin‘s blog of May 22, 2012, “Ranking for signal to noise ratio.” Seth explains: “The signal to noise ratio is a measurement of the relationship between the stuff you want to hear and the stuff you don’t.” And here’s the key point: “Twitter and email and Facebook all have a bad ratio, and it’s getting worse.” Seth tells us to find channels we trust, and get rid of those we don’t. “Until you remove the noise, you’re going to miss a lot of signal.”
