I just can’t help it. I read cool stuff and I have to share it. I’m pleased if you already found the stuff I found.

But what if you didn’t? Well, gosh…. I just have to share with you. So here goes.

Of course, different type fonts can create emotions. If pictures can, why not fonts, eh? Read Roger Dooley’s February 7 post because it’s a list of cool stuff he’s discovered recently…. Of course, check out all the readability stuff that Tom Ahern has compiled from leaders in our field.

“Where love meets social justice…” Inspiring and hopeful. That’s the description of “Transformation,” an e-news from openDemocracy (free thinking for the world). Some great stuff here. Check it out. Get inspired. Get informed.

BoardProspects has some interesting items to share. And remember, you can learn lots about good governance reading about what’s happening in for-profit boards. And, you can link that work to your own board, which has board members whose experience is for-profits.

Are you part of the CharityChannel online community? Some pretty darn cool stuff. Tons of articles. And I mean tons. And free. CharityChannel Press with books for nonprofits and books that would help any of us. “In the Trenches” imprint for nonprofits….fundraising and governance and sooooo many! “For the genius” imprint for our regular lives. I’ll be buying Wine for the Genius and the online gambling one — both for my partner Tom — when they come out. But how about Caregiving for the Genius right now? How to care for our loved ones?Or maybe I’ll give it to my younger siblings — as I continue to, well, you know, “age.” And soon enough, there will be CharityChannel University. So keep visiting. Join up.

If you read The Agitator, you know about the company DonorVoice. Check out DonorVoice’s blog and publications. And remember, life is pretty much always about donor retention!

Sofii (Showcase for Innovation and Inspiration) always has something new that is useful and helpful and just plan really darn good! Have you looked at Jerry Huntsinger’s 54 tutorials on direct mail writing? How about the Natalia Project – and the first assault alarm to help defenders of human rights? Are you looking for a job, an international job? Sofii lists those, too.

And, read Jeff Brooks’ blog from 02-12-14…focused on direct mail. Pay particular attention to the next-to-last paragraph.

Okay. Enough already, Simone!
